My dearest, dearest ... I want to tell you what happened today: Eddie, the agility teacher told me to come today with little Gryta and petite Lalou too. He did not saw her from a month and a half ago. He was surprised of her: how beautiful she is, how much she grows up, how curious and speed and also calm she is. So, we made agility with little Gryta and then we brought petite Lalou in the field. We start to play with her with the ball, running and then step by step with the obstacles. First we practise the bridge. Eddie wants to see how much courage she had. So, I offer her a reward and call her on the bridge. And she put her paw on the bridge immediately and I reward her. We repet that 2-3 times and each time, very brave, she puts her paw on the bridge. Then, we continue with the tunnel. He kept her to the entry of the tunnel and I call her at the other entry. She puts a paw in the tunnel, she saw it is a bit dark there, she look around, she smells and then she looks at me which I kept call her. She steps back. So, I call little Gryta and she does the tunnel in front of petite Lalou. In that moment, Eddie could not kept petite Lalou anymore, because she ran after little Gryta and she enters in the tunnel and came to me. We enlarge the tunnel each time, she enters and came to me, so after 5 times, she went in the tunnel, the tunnel was at his absolutely measurements (5-6 m long). Then we took a break, and after Eddie start running with her on the field, and after, arriving in front of the entry of the tunnel he gave her the command "tunnel" and she run through the tunnel without stop, without hesitation. Then we practice the jump and to learn to follow my hand from the right side and from the left side. She understood from the beginning what she has to do, how she has to follow my hand and she executes perfectly a route in both ways.(to see the picture in attach, by mail). Infortunately I was so surprise that I did not make any pictures or movies, but on Thursday I will go to the second lesson and I shall do. She works and plays more than an hour and she was not tired. She is splendid ! Remember she has not 4 months yet ! Eddie was enchanted ! More, my little Gryta is wonderful ! I thought she will be jealous that petite Lalou learns agility, but no ! She helped very much and she likes it and waits her turn very calm every time and when I need her to help petite Lalou she did very gracious and very well. It was a such a lovely afternoon, a splendid afternoon even outside was hot. But the joy was so great and we forgot about the hit. She likes to do agility, she enjoys. And I am very proud also about the protective attitude of little Gryta.
Also, I want to tell an another thing very special: on Sunday, my brother came to my visit me, and we talk about petite Lalou, little Gryta and of course about you. Even he knows about you since little Gryta came into my life, he never saw a picture of you; and on Sunday he told me: shows me a picture of Marie ! And I did. First I want to tell you that my brother is a person who does not accept very easely someone and does not like immediately a person; with a new person he is very special to conquer his heart. So, he looked at your picture and he told me and also to his wife: do you know what impression make me this woman ? his wife and I, we both answer in the same time: No; and he told us: I think she is and she look like a fairy from the old Irish stories with elfs and gnomes which prepares every night good things for people and makes surprises. I like her very much. I was so enchanted ! And I think he is right ! You are a fairy who make good things for people. Bonjour. Je suis de l'île de la Réunion et j'ai toujours eu un faible pour les Colleys. J'aimerai savoir combien celà me coûterait d'obtenir un de vos chiots ? Tout du moins si il y a possibilité en raison de ma situation géographique. Mes salutations.

Bonjour Marie. Quelques nouvelles de Django, et quelques clichés aussi par mail (très difficile de le prendre en photos, chaque fois que je me baisse pour cadrer il rapplique). Il va très bien !!!!! Vétérinaire ce week-end (rappel vaccins, toux obligatoire, et j'ai aussi fait la rage + vermifuge) puis club canin. Il faut que je vous dise : je ne peux JAMAIS me balader tranquillement avec Django, toutes les personnes que je croise sont en admiration devant lui, et c'est vrai qu'il est magnifique ! Nous sommes passés à 2 repas par jour, avec 420g, pour atteindre 450 la semaine prochaine. Il est toujours aussi propre. Il pèse maintenant 10kg, je vais devoir lui acheter un nouveau harnais cette semaine. Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais il adore les escargots, tous les jours sans exception il m'en ramène, des morts, des vivants, des séchés ... Ce week-end j'ai refait tout le grillage limitrophe avec mon voisin, Django passait en-dessous ou dans les trous et allait souvent chez lui. Bon ben je me suis fait aboyer dessus quand j'ai remblayé le bas du grillage avec la terre. Je constate jour après jour l'intelligence de ce chien, et je constate jour après jour son caractère très affirmé de Colley !!!! Je pense souvent à vous quand vous me disiez que vous avez su préserver le caractère marqué de cette race. Très têtu aussi, un vrai colley mâle. Je suis vraiment content d'avoir Django, Marie, vraiment ! J'espère que tout le monde va bien chez vous, vous passerez bien le bonjour à Alain de ma part. Bonjour Marie. J'ai appris beaucoup de choses à Jaïane ( fille de votre Firefly et Hennky), elle travaille super bien et en demande encore; ces derniers jours je lui ai appris "le huit", c'est un exercice qui consiste à ce que le chien fasse un huit en passant à chaque jambe, je lui ai appris le slalom entre les jambes et aussi le "get up": le chien doit se mettre sur ses deux pattes arrière. Jaïane est très drôle, surtout avec Auscar, ces deux-là s'entendent très bien, et Jaïane joue beaucoup avec mon chat (Ikea); j'adore Jaïane, je vous remercie beaucoup pour cette chienne, bonne journée, Manon S, Guadeloupe.

Hi Marie/Alain ... Cher entered her first "Open Obedience show" yesterday in the pre-beginners class and she came first !! I was so pleased I could have cried, I was so proud of her, she did really well. After 2 weeks we have to move to the beginner class. We complete again next week in the pre-beginners but after that we compete in beginners (so many rules and régulations !). I will send you a photo of Cher with rosette and certificate (it is raining today). I will send you the link to the show results. Antoinette, and daughter's Carmen, Irlande.

Bonjour. Lady, fille de votre Firefly et de votre Hennky, 3 mois et demi, est un petit chien d'amour qui nous comble complètement et c'est un grand bonheur pour nous de l'avoir ... Elle a un caractère inouï : elle est toujours aussi câline, très jouette, très sociable et même parfois un peu trop ... Comme elle aime jouer, elle accourt vers les gens, là, en général, pas de problèmes, mais aussi vers les enfants, qui, eux, sont plus vite effrayés et courent. Mais Lady, elle, croit que c'est pour jouer, donc elle court de plus belle ... nous avons du faire quelques sauvetages de petits en détresse ... Nous essayons de l'empêcher de sauter sur les personnes et aussi de mordiller, mais ce n'est pas encore tout-à-fait acquis ! Alors elle a bon appétit et grandit à vue d'oeil ... c'est impressionnant ! Elle est propre la nuit et la journée, nous n'avons quasiment plus d'accidents car elle est tout le temps dehors ! Elle adore jouer dans l'herbe avec tous les jouets que nous lui avons acheté, elle regarde en l'air, court après les papillons, mais alors, ce qu'elle adore le plus, c'est de jouer avec le jet d'eau quand mon mari arrose les pelouses. C'est trop comique parce qu'elle essaie de boire au jet d'eau et celà ne la dérange pas du tout de prendre une petite douche ! Ce que je ne vous ai pas encore dit, c'est que notre Lady est belle, elle est même “magnifique”... Dès que mon mari sera revenu, je vous enverrai déjà une photo par mail. Comment va votre mari ? Le frère et la soeur de Lady vont bien aussi ? Si vous en avez des photos, celà m'amuserait de voir comment eux ont évolué ! Je vois sur votre site que Lalou est merveilleuse aussi, c'est une belle portée ... encore merci pour Lady ! Bonne journée.

Hello there ! un petit coucou .... :) We are very well. I am very glad to tell you that is is a perfect harmony between petite Lalou: Firefly and Hennky's daughter, and all the others, especially with little Gryta: Firefly's daughter, which she plays already. Because I have listen to you and I protect the feelings of little Gryta, but not to neglect the feelings of petite Lalou, and I have kept the balance, little Gryta understood nobody will take her place and now she is again in her good mood and plays and loves petite Lalou. Each of them has her toys and I tought petite Lalou to not play with the ball of little Gryta. And in this case everything it is ok. This week-end I want to make a short movie with what petite Lalou knows already. You will be surprised. She is PERFECT ! She is DIVINE ! Lory plays with her also and sometimes sleep toghether in Lory's nest. Petite Lalou gave her many, many, many kisses. And like a tender mother, Lory accepts and gives her back kisses. Tedy watches her like a king and tender daddy with the wisedom of his age; she is very clever ! Once, just once, when Tedy was sleeping on the floor, she went to him and give him kisses. He just moved his face apart and made a grumpy sound. And from that moment she never bores him when he is sleeping. She eats very well. She took weight. We stay 3 days on the week-end in the apartment and the others days at my house with yard. There are no dangers to let her out and she plays in the yard. When we stay in the apartment I do not take her out for the moment because she have not all the finished vaccines. So, when we go out (the other 3 days) she knows and she is very calm in front of the door our return. Also, when we go with my car and I prepare her bag she knows, I take her with me and she is very happy and goes and sit next to the bag waiting. I put her in the bag and she knows to let her down to close the bag and stays quiet till I get her in the car and I open the bag. In the car she sit like an angel looking on the window all the time next to Lory. When I give them to eat she learns her turn (no.4) and she aspects her turn very calm without going to the others bowls. Last week-end like I told you we went to my sister-in-law mother house at country near to a forest. It was very nice. But I left without words about what petite Lalou have done. First, there is a dog in that yard. A stray dog saved. Her name is Florica. She mells Florica, she aproaches, gave her some kisses and she get a new friend instantly. I was amaized ! Then, there is a stair very high to get in the house, 16 steps. In the first morning (we arrived there Thursday late in the evening), Friday, I took her in my arms and I go down and let her in the yard with the others. And then we prepared breakfast. The door at the kitchen was open. Surprise ! After a while we have seen her near to us aspecting with the other her breakfast. I ask who took her up ? And my brother answers me : "nobody ! she climbed alone." On Saturday, another surprise. We stood up, on the terrace and before this I took petite Lalou up from the yard, to stay with us. The other where down and played. She watches them from up and without any help she starts to get down slowly on the stairs, very brave till she get down to play. She is INCREDIBLE courageous and clever ! I was so surprise that I did not have time to record her. There are so many things she does wonderfully that I even do not remember to tell you. Petite Lalou amazes me every day, she is really very INCREDIBILEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!! I do not have ever enough thanks to you. Gros bisous.
